Casanova

trekking paths literally minutes away from the house.
Just follow any of them and let nature and history surprise
you. At every turn, hidden behind wild vegetation, you
are bound to bump into abandoned, dream-like ruins, many
dating back to Roman times. Or you might be surprised
by a cluster of houses, called hamlets (or "hameaus"),
where people still live with a simplicity and hospitality
reminiscent of an era gone by.
And if you like horse riding, you will enjoy the 2000
km of tracks open to riders, which will take you to areas
and villages that cannot be reached by road.
Other activities include quad (ATV) excursions at Brando,
tennis at Erbalunga, and golf south of Bastia.
